Public Health restrictions have been extended until at least February 14.
Premier Tim Houston made the announcement in the wake of continued high COVID-19 numbers in the province, and in hospitals.
Three more deaths were reported Wednesday. There are 91 people in COVID-19 hospital units. That includes 15 people in ICU.
There have been 369 hospitalizations and 30 deaths since the Omicron wave began December 8.
Provincial officials estimate over 400,000 people in the province will have gotten a booster dose by the end of January, that’s about 40 per cent of Nova Scotians.
