Nova Scotia Health is shifting its focus to emergency care only in many areas due to the storm.
The health department will reduce some non-emergency services in eastern, northern and central zones due to the ongoing heavy snow in parts of the province and poor road conditions in many areas.
The following service changes outlined below are planned for Monday.
Patients are being asked to consider the nature of booked appointments and whether any non-urgent appointments can be rescheduled.

Emergency surgeries only Monday; elective surgical procedures and endoscopies are cancelled.
