A 38-year old man has been charged with firearms offences after an emergency alert was issued.
The Bible Hill man was arrested in the community Friday after the alert in Colchester, Cumberland and Pictou counties.
Several schools in the area were also put on lockdown.
The charges include uttering threats, intimidation, using and possessing a firearm and more.
He was taken into custody, and was scheduled to be in court Monday.
