The Cape Breton Eagles need a new coach.
Louis Robitaille has signed with a professional Russian hockey team for next season.
He joined the Eagles before the 2023/24 season, and led them to two-straight playoff appearances.
Robitaille has coached in the QMJHL for 14 seasons.
In a statement, he calls the promotion a big challenge, and it was a tough decision because he loves the Eagles and the community.
