A fish plant in Cumberland County has been destroyed by fire.
It happened Monday afternoon in the main building at the Aquashell Holdings Processing Facility in Wallace.
Fire crews had to battle the blaze during very blustery conditions.
Nearby homes were evacuated, and power was turned off for hundreds.
MLA Elisabeth Smith-McCrossin says this loss will be felt across the region for many years.
The Pugwash Fire Department says it was a tough day where wind and temperatures work against crews but also a day where people came together to support each other in any way they could.
