The province is promising improvements to the family doctor waitlist.
Starting in April, reports will include the number of new members to the list, and their reason for joining.
As of now, it’s a list of names with not much detail.
The changes are recommendations from Nova Scotia Health.
Minister Michelle Thompson says this will help Nova Scotians get connected to a physician faster.
Around 66,000 people were on the list as of January 1.
