The Port Hawkesbury Bucs play their second game in as many nights when they host the Isle Madame Mariners in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
The Bucs (4-8), coming off a 4-2 win in St. Peter’s Monday night, are tied with St. Peter’s for fifth in the six-team league, a game back of Petit-de-Grat for fourth; the Mariners (8-3) are second, a half-game behind Inverness for top spot, and three games ahead of third-place Little Anse.
Isle Madame has won the first two games in the four-game season series.
First pitch at the Dan Willie MacDonald Memorial Ballfield in Port Hawkesbury is 6:15 p.m.
The St. Andrews Flyers visit the St. Joseph’s Chiefs in a match-up of winless teams at the bottom of the AGR standings.
The Chiefs (0-3) are fourth in the five-team league, a game-and-a-half behind Guysborough for third; the last-place Flyers (0-5) are a game back of the Chiefs.
It’s the first game between the teams.
Game time is 6:30 p.m.
The Antigonish Celtics visit United DFC in the Nova Scotia Soccer League‘s U17A boys division.
The Celtics (3-4-1) are fifth in the eight-team division with 10 points, four points behind the Storm for fourth, and five points ahead of United DFC (1-5-2) and Halifax Dunbrack, who are tied for sixth.
It’s the first league game of the season between the teams.
