The chair of a committee that’s trying to repurpose the former Mulgrave Memorial Education Centre says they’ll be advertising to the private sector.
The school had its last day of classes in June and was handed over to town officials this summer.
Mulgrave and Area Development Association chair Sean Reid tells The Hawk that the committee completed an expression of interest document on Wednesday which will be advertised locally and provincially.
“We’re going to give a six or eight week turn around time for any interested parties to take a look at it. It’s kind of like a prospective of what’s there in regards to the building…the layout…the eletrical hook up…whole nine yards.”
The committee says some of the possible uses could be storage, office rentals, or a day care service.
