A man arrested following a hit-and-run in Port Hawkesbury is expected to return to court Tuesday.
RCMP say officers were called to a hit-and-run in the parking lot of the Causeway Shopping Centre in December.
They say a 26-year-old Port Hawkesbury man, who was treated by paramedics at the scene, suffered minor injuries.
Police say the driver fled, but they later arrested Forest Douglas Baker, 22, of Port Hawkesbury.
Baker, who was released from custody on strict conditions shortly after his arrest, originally faced five charges- dangerous driving causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, failing to remain at the scene and impaired driving.
He entered not guilty pleas to all of his charges in April; he changed his plea to guilty on the uttering threats, impaired driving and dangerous driving counts as his trial was set to get underway in September.
Baker is scheduled for sentencing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
