A woman arrested following a vehicle stop in Inverness Co. has been given a suspended sentence.
RCMP say tips from members of the public led to the stop in Waycobah in Nov. 2017.
They say they seized a firearm, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.
Police charged Theodore Basque, 45, and Doris Gould, 29, both from Waycobah, with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Gould pleaded guilty to the possession for the purpose of trafficking count, and had the trafficking charge withdrawn in August; she received a three-year suspended sentence in Wagmatcook Provincial Court Wednesday.
