The Battle of Cape Breton resumes in the Nova Scotia Minor Midget AAA Hockey League.
The Cabot Highlanders play their final game before Christmas when they visit the Cape Breton Jets in New Waterford.
It’s a match-up of teams at the bottom of the eight-team league- the Highlanders (1-16-0), with one win through their first 17 regular season games, are last with two points, six points back of the Jets (3-15-2) for seventh.
It’s the third league game between the teams- Cape Breton has won the first two, including a 3-1 win against the Highlanders in Port Hawkesbury Dec. 14.
Game time is 2 p.m.
There are a pair of games in the Antigonish Rural League.
The Heatherton Warriors take on the County Outlaws at 7 p.m. and the St. Croix Angels play the Pleasantdale Panthers at 8:45 p.m.
Both games are at the Antigonish Arena.
