A man arrested following a hit-and-run in Port Hawkesbury has had his case adjourned.
RCMP say officers were called to a hit-and-run in the parking lot of the Causeway Shopping Centre in December.
They say a 26-year-old Port Hawkesbury man, who was treated by paramedics at the scene, suffered minor injuries.
Police say the driver fled, but they later arrested Forest Douglas Baker, 21, of Port Hawkesbury.
Baker, who was released from custody on strict conditions shortly after his arrest, faces five charges- dangerous driving causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, failing to remain at the scene and impaired driving.
He was expected for an arraignment hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday morning; his case was adjourned until an election-and-plea hearing Feb. 26.
