A suspect in a drug bust in Inverness Co. has had her case adjourned.
Rachel Phillips, 46, of We’koqma’q faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation of marijuana.
Phillips, who entered not guilty pleas in August, was expected to stand trial in November; it didn’t go ahead.
She was scheduled to have a new date set for her trial in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Tuesday; instead, her case was adjourned until a status update Dec. 19.
RCMP say officers seized marijuana, oxycodone tablets, drug paraphernalia and cash when they searched a We’koqma’q home in Feb. 2016.
