A teen from Guysborough Co. arrested after Sherbrooke RCMP responded to a knife threat on a school bus is scheduled to return to court in the spring.
Police say they were called when four students were threatened with a knife on a bus to St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy in October.
They say no one was hurt; the knife in question was a folding utility knife.
A boy, 16, who can’t be identified because of his age, has been charged with assault with a weapon.
He’s going through the province’s Restorative Justice program; his case returned to youth court in Antigonish Wednesday.
He’s expected back in court for a status update May 30.
