There are a pair of games on the local sports schedule.
The Petit-de-Grat Red Caps host the St. Peter’s Royals in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
The Red Caps (6-9) are fourth in the six-team league, two games behind Little Anse for third, and a half-game ahead of the fifth-place Royals (4-8), who sit a half-game ahead of last-place Port Hawkesbury.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams- St. Peter’s has won two of the first three.
First pitch at the Petit-de-Grat Ballfield is 6:15 p.m.
The Antigonish Celtics visit Northern Nova United in the Highland Soccer League‘s U15 boys division.
It’s a match-up of the top two teams in the four-team division; Northern Nova (4-0-0) is in top spot with 12 points, while the second-place Celtics (3-1-0) are three points back.
They’ve met once so far- Northern Nova edged Antigonish 1-0 in the season opener for both teams in June.
