A pair of 25-hour ER closures will be in place at a hospital in the Quad Counties.
Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority say the emergency department at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will close at 7 a.m. Monday, and re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
It will also shut down at 7 a.m. Wednesday, and re-open at 8 a.m. Thursday.
They say physician unavailability to cover the shifts is the reason for the closure.
You’re asked to go to another ER or call 911 with a medical emergency; you can call 811 for any non-urgent issues.
