We regret to announce the death of Bernard Gerard “Bernie” MacDonald of Port Hawkesbury/West Mabou occurred on Saturday at home.

Visitation for the late Bernard Gerard “Bernie” MacDonald will be held in Port Hood and Area Resting Place on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, Port Hood with Father Sunny officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Port Hood and Area Resing Place or to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.

We regret to announce the death of Victoria Louise MacLean of Ashdale which occurred on November 26, at High Crest Home in Sherbrook.

A celebration of life will be held for Victoria Louise MacLean on Saturday, December 13th from 1 to 4pm St. Joseph’s Lakeside Community Centre – St. Josephs, NS.

We regret to announce the death of Samuel Howard “Sam” Gero of Antigonish which occurred Wednesday in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Sam’s life will be held Tuesday at the East Coast Credit Union Social Enterprise Centre, 75 St. Ninian Street, Antigonish, from 4 to 9pm.
