We regret to announce the death of Patricia Ann “Patsy” Pitts of North Grant, Antigonish County which occurred Monday in High Crest Home for Special Care in Sherbrooke.

Funeral Mass will be in St. Ninian Cathedral on Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 am.

Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lochaber.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lochaber Community Centre or the Antigonish Chapter of CARMA.

James “Jim” “Soupbone” Henry Langley

The death of James “Jim” “Soupbone” Henry Langley of Port Hawkesbury occurred on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home

There will be no visitation.

Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 13 in St.Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, with Father Elliott O’Neil.

Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, with reception will follow in the Church Hall.

Memorial donations may be made in Jim’s memory to a charity of one’s choice .

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.

We regret to announce the death of Celine Eleanor Fougere that passed away on September 4th, 2025.

Visitation will take place at C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat, on Monday, September 15th, from 6:00 – 9:00pm.

Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, September 16th at St. Joseph’s Church in Petit de Grat at 11:00 am with Fr. Duaine Devereaux presiding.

Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat.

Reception to follow at St Joseph’s Parish Hall.
