Early voting has resumed in Clayton Park West after a break in at the riding’s returning office in Halifax.
A temporary voting location has opened next door on Chain Lake Drive.
Elections Nova Scotia is working with the police to investigate the break in – seven laptops, two empty ballot boxes and about $60 in petty cash was stolen.
No ballots were stolen and all ballot boxes with votes cast remain secure.
Elections Nova Scotia is confident that the integrity of the votes cast in the riding has not been compromised.
