
A local university was ranked as the top school in terms of student satisfaction by Maclean’s magazine.
Over 19,000 students shared their experiences through Maclean’s online satisfaction survey. They gave opinions on professors and staff, residence life, and opportunities for extracurricular activities and experiential education.
Out of 19 primarily undergraduate universities, St. Francis Xavier University came first in student satisfaction, course instructors and extracurricular activities
The university was ranked second in reputation and residence living and third overall in experiential learning and academic support.
“It speaks to the hard work that was put in last year during the pandemic to ensure that students were put first and that the student experience St. FX is so well known for was upheld,” said St. FX Students’ Union President Jack Irvin.
In the overall ranking of Canada’s primarily undergraduate universities, St. FX placed ninth.
