A new partnership between The Gaelic College and Cape Breton University will see university level education being offered in Mabou this fall.
It’s a foundational, first year program focused on Gaelic culture through an English delivery.
There are four courses that last six weeks each and run consecutively from September to April.
Students will also learn the foundations of Gaelic language.
They will come away with 30 credit hours that can be used to continue a BA or BACS program at CBU, or they can transfer to another university.
Students will be housed on campus and they say it is ideal for those looking to further their learning experience and create stronger bonds with themselves, their peers and their community.
