A 31-year-old Cape Breton man has been charged with second-degree murder after an assault in Sydney Mines.
A man was found lying on the road with serious injuries at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
He was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.
Cape Breton Regional Police say Tyler Anthony MacNeil of Georges River was arrested on Tuesday.
He has now been remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre.
