
Most of the province will get a lot of snow tonight.
Up to 30 centimetres could fall in some areas, especially Halifax, where a Winter Storm Warning has been issued.
Snowfall warnings are in effect for everywhere else except Yarmouth and Shelburne, and northern Cape Breton.
The snow will begin this afternoon over Western-areas.
Schools in the South Shore Regional Centre for Education will dismiss 90 minutes early today.
