Be prepared for traffic congestion and some delays in the Town of Port Hawkesbury, the Capital Paving Project 2024 is underway as crews work on asphalt repair.
The town says seven streets will affected be for two weeks, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
- Crandall Drive (From Hydrant by #16 to Grants Court)
- Spruce Street/Pine Ridge Intersection
- Sydney Road (Near Civic #113)
- Queen Street (From 613 Queen to Kennedy Street)
- Hiram Street (From Philpott Street to MacSween Street)
- MacSween Street (From Prince Street to Hiram Street)
There will be parking restrictions and noise and dust, while workers do milling and resurfacing.
The town says these repairs are crucial in order to maintain the quality and safety of our roads.
Work begins Monday, August 26.
