Residents in a small community in Antigonish County are asked to take shelter Monday evening.
In a post on X at about 7 p.m. Monday, RCMP say officers are executing arrest warrants Parkwood Avenue. in North Grant.
The roadway is closed and police are asking people to avoid the area as officers do their work.
According to the first post, police say at this time, there’s no risk to public safety.
In an update at about 7:07 p.m., police ask residents in the immediate area to stay inside as officers do their work.
