A teenage girl plead guilty to a lesser charge in relation to the death of another Halifax teenager.
Four teens were accused of second-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Ahmad Al Marrach, who was stabbed in a shopping mall parking lot in April.
According to the Canadian Press, the 14-year-old girl plead guilty on Monday to manslaughter and violating the conditions of her bail.
Her lawyer said the crown won’t seek an adult sentence.
The other teens go on trial in February, and two adults were also arrested in the case.
