Nineteen new or replacement schools are planned for Nova Scotia.
It’s part of the five-year updated capital plan for schools in the region.
Three schools are expected to open in the next school year, with two more to be built in high-growth areas of Dartmouth and Bedford.
Two of the schools will be in the HRM, the other is in Clare.
The province says will help students have modern learning spaces to prepare them for the future.
Overall 12 of the 19 new or replacement schools will be in the Halifax area,
Five schools were opened in the last fiscal year.
