McDonald’s Canada says that this McHappy Day (May 8) was record-breaking! Over $11.3 million was raised for Ronald McDonald House Charities across Canada and other local children’s charities nationwide.
In the Quad Counties, proceeds from McDonalds in Antigonish and Port Hawkesbury supported St Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish as they work towards purchasing surgical tools to allow for pacemaker battery changes (a new service for the hospital) and a surgical x-ray machine for pediatric dental surgeries.
