A Halifax man is facing a list of charges after he was arrested at a hotel in Prince Edward Island.
P.E.I RCMP say the 22-year-old was involved with firearms threats offences in Halifax.
The arrest was Wednesday, in Brackley, involving the RCMP Emergency Response Team.
RCMP say, “ERT are specialists in handling the most dangerous calls police attend and they are deployed in situations where there is potential for elevated risk.”
The suspect is due in Dartmouth court Thursday to face these charges:
- Uttering threats
- Use an imitation firearm while committing an offence
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Carrying a concealed weapon
