No new evidence was found after search teams scoured specific areas in rural Nova Scotia, where two children went missing more than two weeks ago.
The search resumed on Saturday and Sunday near Gairloch Road in Pictou County, with air and ground teams, including more than 115 volunteers from across the province.
It is in an effort to “advance the investigation” and find Lilly and Jack Sullivan, six and four years old, who wandered away from home on Gairloch Road, in Lansdowne Station, May 2.

“This weekend’s search will be carefully reviewed and assessed by investigators and search managers to help in planning any further ground and air search efforts,” the RCMP wrote in a news release.
Police said on Saturday that teams from Colchester, Halifax, East Hants Pictou County and the Strait Area alongside the Civil Air Search and Rescue focused on specific areas around Gairloch Road.
“The search was supported by Nova Scotia Public Safety Field Communications and EHS Emergency Preparedness Special Operations,” say police in a news release.
This comes after a massive search that lasted six days, covering 5.5 square kilometres of thick woods and rural land, involving more than 160 volunteers who put in tens of thousands of search hours.
However, it was scaled back on May 7 to look deeper into targeted areas, like this one.
Underwater search teams scoured bodies of water around Lansdowne Stations on May 8 and 9 but found no evidence, the release said.
Police are looking into 180 tips from the public, as well as interviewing 35 people for the case, including those closest to Lilly and Jack.
They ask anyone with information to come forward.
