The province wants feedback on how alcohol is bought and consumed.

It could include more places to buy and more spots for people to drink.

Finance minister John Lohr says the nation is changing.

“We’re having a drive for more interprovincial trade, and alcohol is part of that. But it’s not about how I feel, it’s about how Nova Scotians feel. We’re looking to hear back from over 250 stakeholder groups,” said Lohr.

There are currently over 300 locations that sell liquor, including NSLC stores.

The province will gather the opinions from 1,500 random people over the age of 19 until the end of June.
