Four people were arrested for driving impaired over the weekend in Dartmouth.
Halifax police say during a traffic stop by the Macdonald Bridge, Friday between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., they caught four impaired drivers all within 30 minutes.
- A 32-year-old man was arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance. An arrest occurs when a driver’s blood alcohol concentration is over of 80 mg%
- Two drivers were issued 7-day licence suspensions for having a blood alcohol concentration between 50 mg% and 79 mg%
- One driver was issued a 24-hour licence suspension for being a new driver and having a level of alcohol in their system under 50 mg%
All four vehicles were seized.
