Harbour Wars is an annual Friendly Fishers Skills Competition in Lower L’Ardoise where teams of 4 compete for “Top Crew/Harbour” in events such as the Cod Fish Shuffle, Dory Races, Nautical Obstacle Course, Tub of War.
All funds raised go towards the Tom MacNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Last years event raised $66,000.00 which provided much needed support for those battling cancer.
This year, the event which took place on August 16, brought in $75,000!
