Some local communities have moved Trick or Treating to Thursday due to the forecasted weather.
In Port Hawkesbury, officials are aware of the changes that other places have announced, however, at this point, Trick or Treating in Port Hawkesbury will be October 31.
Once again this year, the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home will be welcoming Trick or Treaters between 6-7pm on October 31! Last year was a huge success and the residents loved seeing the kids in costume!
If you are in another community with a nursing home, please consider reaching out to them and asking if they would like to have some trick or treaters visit.
