A suspicious death at a home in Hillside Boularderie early Sunday morning.
Cape Breton Regional Police say it was around 1:14 a.m. when they got a call about a female in distress.
She was taken to hospital where she later died.
One male was arrested on scene.
At this point in the investigation, police say, this is not believed to be a random incident.
The two reportedly know each other.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
