Parents and guardians can now book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment for kids aged six months to four years.
The Pfizer infant COVID-19 vaccine is now available in Nova Scotia.
The vaccine is delivered in three doses, taken at least eight weeks apart to complete the primary series.
The province recommends waiting two weeks to receive other routine pediatric vaccines after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
They say moderately to severely immunocompromised children will require a fourth dose.
