A Quad Counties riding had the best voter turnout in the entire province.
Elections Nova Scotia has released data showing 71.43 per cent of eligible voters in Richmond cast their ballot Tuesday.
New protected Acadian ridings make up the top three.
Richmond is closely followed by Clare, with 67.84 per cent, and Argyle, with 67.45 per cent.
Another local riding was just behind in fourth, Guysborough-Tracadie with 66.81 per cent voter turnout.
