10:00am - 3:00pm: - Marine Biology Summer Camp (5 - 12 yrs). Université Sainte Anne, campus Petit-de-Grat. Cost: $15.00.
 
10:00am - 11:30am: -  Story Hour (0 - 6 yrs). Library, Centre La Picasse.
 
7:00pm: -  Official Opening Ceremony of the 45th PDG Acadian Festival Centre La Picasse. Animation: Nadine (Boudreau) MacRae. Youth Theatre Skit: Monique Marchand.
 
7:45pm: - Festival Concert with André Thériault, Francophone folk singer. Wine & cheese / Cash bar. Admission : $10 adult / $5 children (under 12).
 

August 9

10:00am – 11:00am: - Festival Acadien Festival Children’s Activities (4 - 8 yrs). Petit-De-Grat Baseball Field. In case of rain, St Joseph’s Parish Hall. Responsible : Rose Samson : 902-594-2072.

1:30pm – 3:00pm: - Festival Acadien Activity : St-Anne Nursing Centre (Arichat)

2:00pm – 4:00pm: - Open House - Marine Research Centre. Université Sainte-Anne, Campus Petit-de-Grat.

 2:00pm – 3:00pm: - Candle Making Workshop (with Audrey Boudreau). Centre La Picasse. Pre-register before August 8: By calling 902-226-0651. Cost : $7

August 10

6:00am: - Festival Acadien de Petit de Grat in Petit de Grat *Softball tournament * Petit-de-Grat Field  

6:00am: - The 8^th Annual Shark Derby. Departure – Petit-de-Grat Wharf. In case of bad weather, departure Saturday, Aug.11 at 6:00am.  

1:00pm - 2:30pm: - Society Games for all ages. Sand bags / floor shuffleboard / card games, etc. Centre La Picasse. Responsible : Thérèse Benoît : 902-226-3233

 3:30pm - 5:30pm: - Festival Acadien Family Activities. Petit-de-Grat Wharf. Fundraising for École Beau-Port students’ trip  

4:00pm – 7:00pm: - Shark Derby, Return to Wharf. Weigh-in & awarding of prizes  

4:00pm – 6:00pm: - Cold plate Supper- by CWL. St. Joseph’s Parish Hall (upstairs). Cost: $10 Advance tickets only. Contact : 902-226-1276/ 226-2129/ 226-9451.

August 11

7:30am – 10:00am: - Community Breakfast. Centre La Picasse. Cost: $7 adults / $5 children / Free 0-3 yrs old.  

10:20am – 11:30am: - Blessing of the Fleet (10:45). Join the priest at St. Joseph’s Church (10:20am). Walk in procession to warf with the choir (10:30am). Boat Parade (11:00am). Responsible: Thérèse Benoît : 902-226-3233. 11:00am – 4:00pm: - Party in the Coves. Little Anse and Samson’s Cove Social Action Centre.  

1:00pm – 3:00pm: - Chase the Ace. Little Anse and Samson’s Cove Social Action Centre. Responsible: Rod Samson : 902-227-7727.

4:00pm: - Acadian Festival Mass (in French). St. Joseph’s Church, Petit-de-Grat.

9:30pm – 1:30am: - Dance in the Coves. Little Anse and Samson’s Cove Social Action Centre. Cost: $10.
 
August 12

9:00am: -*Softball tournament at Petit-de-Grat Field

 1:30pm – 2:30pm: - Tintamarre and Children’s Parade. Start : Edwin Samson (on the “Stretch” PDG). Finish : Centre La Picasse. Certificate presentation. Responsible : Monique Savoury : 902-302-2640.

 2:00pm - 4:00pm: - ‘Serpentime’ Reptile Zoo. Centre La Picasse, parking lot. Additional charges for photos with reptiles. In case of rain, St. Joseph’s Parish Hall Free.
