Local public transit is the latest to feel the impact of COVID-19.
Officials with Strait Area Transit say they’re suspending their service indefinitely at the end of the business day Friday.
They say that includes Victoria Co. Transit.
Antigonish Community Transit reps say Friday will be the last day for their regular in-town route until further notice.
They say they’ll still provide service to customers for essential transportation, which includes travel for medical treatment.
