Nova Scotia has confirmed more cases of COVID-19.
At the press conference Sunday afternoon the provincial government identified 12 new cases.
That brings the total across the province to 122 and the 12 cases announced on Sunday range in age from under 10 to mid-70s.
Nova Scotia has three patients in the hospital due to COVID-19 and seven cases are considered resolved.
Premier Stephen McNeil says everyone is not staying home.
McNeil says community members are still making their way to parks and beaches even though they are closed, grocery stores are packed and groups are out playing sports.
“These people are the reckless few and not only are Dr. Strang and I upset with them, their fellow Nova Scotians are upset with them.”
McNeil says if you won’t do your part to help flatten the curve, the police will do it for you.
