The Member of Parliament for Cape Breton-Canso says feedback from business owners and community members has shaped the federal response to COVID-19.
Mike Kelloway says cabinet ministers ask MPs on the ground for priorities, which come from conversations in their ridings.
Kelloway told The Hawk Morning Show it’s important the right information gets through.
“I’ve seen it first-hand how an idea from someone in our riding can find a way to a cabinet table.”
Kelloway said MPs are government members’ eyes and ears.
He said he wants insight from as many people as possible so he can help provide the best solutions.
Kelloway said he wants everyone in the riding to keep sending him feedback.
