A local MP says all our hard work is starting to pay off.
Cape Breton-Canso MP Mike Kelloway says it’s not over, but it looks like the curve of COVID-19 is flattening out.
Kelloway tells The Hawk Morning Show regular people have the chance to do a lot right now.
“This is one of these rare instances in life when communities, when individuals, could be co-authors of their own destiny,” he says. “This is a chance for you to impact your home, your family, your community, and your country.”
Kelloway says if we stop following health measures the virus will come back quickly.
He says we need to keep doing what we’re asked, and with all the information out there now there’s no reason not to.
