The province confirmed three new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
That brings the total number of cases in Nova Scotia to 1,043.
Eight individuals are currently in hospital, including four in the ICU.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre microbiology lab completed 237 tests on Sunday and is operating 24-hours a day.
Nova Scotia has 36,263 negative test results and 946 individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
In a press release, Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health says the lower case numbers we have seen over the last few days is encouraging.
Strang says even with the low numbers we can’t let our guard down just yet.
