With other municipal offices in the Quad Counties reopening, there isn’t a firm plan for Inverness Co. yet.
Warden Betty Ann MacQuarrie says there are a few staff in the building, but it remains closed to the public.
MacQuarrie tells The Hawk they’re still building a plan to enforce public health measures.
“To protect people, staff and residents, who may eventually be coming into the building,” she says. “We have to go by provincial regulations and be prepared to open, so we will when we are more than sure that the building is safe.”
MacQuarrie says they expect they will be in a position to reopen early in July.
