More than 940 StFX students graduate Friday.
They’ll receive degrees and diplomas as part of a pair of virtual ceremonies with pre-recorded aspects.
University officials planned to hold spring convocation May 2, but had to suddenly pivot to comply with the latest provincial public health restrictions, including gathering limits.
One ceremony gets underway at 2 p.m.; the other starts at 5 p.m.
Dr. Robert Strang, the province’s chief medical officer of health, and Sean Boyd, a mining industry executive and former member of the StFX board of governors, will receive honourary degrees during the ceremonies.
