Some Nova Scotians are now eligible to book their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine ahead of schedule.
The province says roughly 8,600 people who received their first dose between March 11 and 21 can now reschedule their second shot.
The second round of appointments for this group was originally set to take place sometime between June 24th and July 3rd.
Those who are eligible should see a notice to reschedule in their email inbox for the account that was provided at the time of booking.
People will be able to select a new date and time at any clinic across the province that has an available appointment.
Notices will continue to be sent out over the coming weeks as vaccine supply is received.
Those who did not provide an email during their first appointment are advised to call 1-833-797-7772 to reschedule or to request an email address be added.
