A Nova Scotia couple is still in disbelief after they won $1 million off of a Lotto Max Maxmillions ticket.
Stephanie and Tyler Frank, from Midville Branch, play the lottery a couple times per month and have often talked about what they would do if they ever won big. They had recently won $40 and decided to use the winnings to buy three more tickets. It might be the best investment they’ll ever make.
They ended up winning the million-dollar prize, becoming the third Nova Scotians to win a million dollars playing the lottery this year.
Tyler says he still can’t believe what happened.
“We’ve talked about winning many times over the years, just carrying on about what we’d do if we won a million dollars… We never thought that it would actually happen,” he said in a press release.
The Franks finally have an answer for that question, thanks to their big win. After they pay off some bills, Stephanie says they’ll get to work renovating their home.
“We’re not really travel people… We’re home bodies, so we want to make our home our palace,” she said.
