A Halifax filmmaker is nominated for another Oscar.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that Ben Proudfoot’s The Last Repair Shop is among nominees in the Documentary Short Film category.
Proudfoot received his first Oscar nomination in 2020 for directing the documentary A Concerto Is a Conversation.
In 2021 he won an Academy Award for The Queen of Basketball in the Best Documentary Short Subject category.
The Oscars will be presented March 10th.
