It is a big plan for the rotary on the Cape Breton-side of the Canso Causeway.
The province announced they’ll start work in Port Hastings early this winter.
They say the new design will prevent vehicles from blocking the intersection while the causeway is open to marine traffic.
It will include a bridge over Trunk 4 and a new sidewalk system.

No word on the total cost of the project. The rotary connects Highways 104 and 105, Trunk 4 and Route 19.
Public Works is still in the process of acquiring land.
