Nova Scotia Power providing more details on a cybersecurity breach.
They say an ‘unauthorized third party’ accessed certain personal information of some customers on April 25.
No word yet on the scope of the data that may have been affected.
The company says they contacted law enforcement, and have launched an investigation.
NS Power says they’re treating the situation very seriously, and the security of customer information is top priority.
They say they’ll contact customers once they find out if they’ve been exposed.
