Sidney Crosby is returning to the Olympic games.
The Vancouver 2010 hero is coming back to Team Canada for the 2026 Milan tournament.
The two-time gold medalist is one of six preliminary players named, as the NHL returns to the event for the first time in 12 years.
The Penguins captain is joined by fellow Cole Harbour native and Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon, along with Oilers superstar Connor McDavid, reigning Norris winner Cale Makar of Colorado, Florida’s Sam Reinhart and the Lightning’s Brayden Point.
All 12 nations revealed their first six players for the Games in February.
